Byu club
As 2ft Prosthetics expands its reach in the world, our club at Brigham Young University continues to empower students to make a difference. In the BYU Club, students grow their knowledge of prosthetic limbs and the human body and apply this knowledge to better the lives of amputees by increasing access to prosthetics at a lower cost.
What we do
The 2ft Prosthetics Club strives for the same goals as the organization as a whole. Our club has three teams: Engineering, Research, and Travel. The three work together to support the mission of 2ft Prosthetics.
- Engineering Team - works on designing and building prosthetic limbs.
- Research Team - studies prosthetic fields, searching for problems and solutions.
- Travel Team - coordinates the logistics of our yearly club trip to directly help individuals who need prosthetic limbs.
get involved
All BYU students, regardless of major, are invited to join 2ft Prosthetics. The club meets weekly on Monday evenings from 5:00-6:00pm in room 100 of the Engineering Building (EB) on BYU Campus. Come for as long and as often as fits your schedule. If you're unsure if you want to join, come check it out!
Join the Alumni Network
All current and past 2ft Prosthetics volunteers are invited to join the 2ft Prosthetics Alumni Network Google Group and LinkedIn. The vision for this alumni network is to help those passionate about prosthetics and international humanitarian work stay connected.
